New Year message for police personnel released by DGP Dr S.P. Vaid | KNO

Srinagar, December 31 (KNO) : The New Year message (2018) was released today in a Press Conference at PCR Kashmir by DGP J&K Dr S.P. Vaid. The New Year message of the DGP was released in three languages: English, Urdu and Hindi simultaneously. The message highlights the achievements of different wings of J&K Police on different fronts. In his message, the DGP has complimented his police personnel and officers for their achievements against the terrorism, violence, drugs and crime. The DGP in his message has highlighted the police endeavours of weaning away of youth from the path of violence, youth development endeavours and war against drugs. In the message, the services provided by different wings of J&K police in shape of passport verifications, service verifications, LOC permits and LOC trade verifications and response to the crime against women has been enumerated. In the message, the rescue work conducted by the J&K Armed police during Amarnath Yatra and the tie-ups with J&K Bank, LG, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Hospital have also been highlighted. The record number of promotions of police personnel and officers during 2017 and patients treated in police hospitals and drug de-addiction centres have also been mentioned in the message.(KNO)
